SCENE in the pen. 107

“A beetle that eats snails”

After the field work was over, We went to the terraced fields by the sea. There were tea and chestnut trees, and crickets were hopping about on the ground. A large beetle that appeared on the road. It eats snails. It walks at a brisk pace and wouldn’t stop. It finally stopped walking, so when I pointed my camera at it, it looked in my direction for a moment, but soon set off again, looking rather busy. [OCTOBER 2026]

[OCTOBRE 2026]
