黄色みを帯びた体をしているセセリチョウ。夏頃から見られ、忙しく羽ばたいて飛び回ります。
ヤマトヒバリ

Homoeoxypha obliterata
ヒバリモドキ科のとてもちいさなコオロギ。夏の終わりごろから見かけ、秋の終わりごろまで鳴いています。

Eurydema rugosa
赤と黒の模様が特徴的なカメムシ。小さいですが、緑の上では鮮やかで目に留まります。
アオスジアゲハ

春から初夏にかけてあらわれるアオスジアゲハ。夢中で吸蜜しているときはこちらをあまり気にしません。
ウスバキトンボ

Dragonflies that come from summer to autumn. As it matures, the body becomes reddish. They almost fly and rarely alight. [August]
Pantala flavescens
夏ごろから姿をあらわすウスバキトンボ。群れて飛んでいることも多く、あまり止まりません。成熟するにつれて体が赤みを帯びます。

Pieris rapae
３月ごろから晩秋まで見かけるモンシロチョウ。あらわれた時期によって模様や雰囲気が異なります。
コフキゾウムシ

A weevil walking on the edge of kudzu vine leaf. Summer is the season when small beetles move actively. [JULY]
Eugnathus distinctus
クズやマメ科の栽培種にあらわれるゾウムシ。光沢がなく粉を吹いたようなからだをしています。
マダラスズ

Small crickets move quickly in the field. They sing with a small sound “ziiii…ziiii…” here and there throughout the autumn. [OCTOBER]
Dianemobius nigrofasciatus
秋を通して鳴く音を聞くことができる小さなコオロギ。畠の畝などからジージーと聞こえてきます。後肢のまだら模様が特徴です。
ヒメアカネ

Sympetrum parvulum
赤とんぼのなかでも小さな種類のヒメアカネ。アキアカネなどが近くにいるとその小ささがよく分かります。７月ごろからあらわれ、秋に腹部が赤くなります。
